On Friday (June 24), we speculated that new live-in boyfriend Justin Theroux -- himself heavily inked -- might have something to do with the new tattoo on the inside of the actress' right foot. But, thanks to People we know that the tattoo is a tribute to Aniston's late dog, Norman. In fact, it reads "Norman" in a serif-heavy script.
Norman, Aniston's Welsh corgi-terrier mix and frequent companion on movie sets, passed away in May at 15 years old. In 2010, Aniston purchased a $4.95 million apartment in New York under the name "Norman's Trust."
Back in 2008, Aniston described Norman to People: "He's just a person in a dog suit."
